How to solve

Uninstall all previous versions of:

  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • SQL Server Native Client (ignore a given warning that MSSQL depends on it)
  • Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server
  • Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server
  • (Search in Programs and Features for ‘SQL’ for uninstalling possible other features)
